St. Paul, MN – The YMCA of the North, a leading nonprofit dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, will provide activities for the whole family to enjoy at the St. Paul Winter Carnival Kids Day on Saturday, January 26, from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

“The YMCA is excited to once again be a part of this important community event,” said Glen Gunderson, president and CEO of the Y. “The Winter Carnival is an experience for families to enjoy together, and the Y will provide opportunities for all to participate.”

The YMCA will participate in Saturday’s community parade and host fun activities in the Landmark Center from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Y activities at the Landmark Center will include:

  • Youth sports agility drills led by trained Y coaches
  • Fitness classes led by trained Y instructors, including a youth dance class and family-friendly boot camp class
  • Gaga pit camp game 
  • Bounce house
  • Information about Y programs, including out of school time programs, family engagement, camps, child care, aquatics and more
